Silver Springs vacation rentals

Silver Springs is one of the largest artesian springs in the country, and the glass-bottom boats have been running over it since the late 1800s. The state park now covers the old attraction and the Silver River below it, where paddlers regularly see the wild monkeys that have lived on the riverbanks for decades.

Rentals here sit east of Ocala along State Road 40 and down through Silver Springs Shores. You are minutes from the park and about 20 minutes from the western edge of the Ocala National Forest, so it works as a base for both.
