Ocala National Forest cabins & vacation rentals

The Ocala National Forest is the southernmost national forest in the continental US, and it holds some of the clearest springs in Florida: Juniper, Salt, Silver Glen and Alexander. The Florida Trail runs through it, and it is home to one of the state's largest populations of Florida black bears.

Rentals out here are cabins and lake houses in Salt Springs, Fort McCoy and around Lake Kerr. Expect quiet, dark skies and slower internet. Groceries and gas are in Salt Springs and Fort McCoy, so stock up on the way in.
