St. Pete Beach, Treasure Island & Madeira Beach vacation rentals
The southern beaches run from the Redingtons through Madeira Beach, across John's Pass to Treasure Island, and down to St. Pete Beach. John's Pass Village and Boardwalk sits at the pass itself, with fishing charters, dolphin cruises and waterfront restaurants on both sides of the drawbridge. Treasure Island has some of the widest stretches of sand on this coast.
At the south end, the pink Don CeSar hotel has stood over St. Pete Beach since the 1920s, and Pass-a-Grille at the very tip is a historic district of old beach cottages where the Gulf meets the mouth of Tampa Bay. From here it is a short drive over the Pinellas Bayway to Fort De Soto Park, and about 20 minutes east to downtown St. Petersburg.
