Marathon & Middle Keys vacation rentals

Marathon is the hub of the Middle Keys, a working town with grocery stores, marinas and its own airport, roughly halfway between Key Largo and Key West. The Seven Mile Bridge starts at its southern end, and the old bridge beside it is a walking and biking path out to Pigeon Key, the camp that housed the crews who built Henry Flagler's railroad.

Rentals range from condos in Key Colony Beach, a small city of its own on the ocean side, to canal homes in Marathon and quieter spots on Grassy Key, Duck Key, Conch Key and Long Key to the north. Sombrero Beach is the town's family beach, and both the reef and the bayside flats are a short run by boat.
